We hope to see you there…
Welcome to Poor Man’s Cow!
Started in 1984 at the University of Illinois, Poor Man’s Cow was an instant hit with their good looks, charm, and solid musical abilities. Fast forward to 2016 and the band is still together – albeit quite a bit more experienced and a little bit prettier with the addition of a new lead singer.
Poor Man’s Cow unique sound comes from a blend of musical styles and tastes as well as a willingness to try anything if it sounds good and makes people smile. Rock and Roll, hearty blues, cool originals, and a few ballads thrown in to help you get your second wind, are what this band is all about.
If you’re looking for a fun night out with great tunes then vocalist Kim Carlson, guitarists Daryl Sandfort and Chris Frantzis, pianist and organist Alex Ex, bassist Tim Bingham, percussionist BEATsmith, and drummer John Boex can provide a high energy time with a down to earth feel that will make it impossible for you to walk away not wanting more.
